Description
Job Summary:
The radiology technologist position is located in Winchester, Virginia, within a 450-bed Level II Trauma Center. This role involves providing imaging support for surgical cases, performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in the emergency department and for inpatients. The position requires working on a flexible overnight shift schedule, including nights, with a focus on trauma and inpatient imaging procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, with a flex shift pattern (3x12-hour shifts) as follows:
- Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Thursday 7:00 AM 7:30 AM
- Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00 AM 7:30 AM
- Week 3: Sunday, Thursday, Saturday 7:00 AM 7:30 AM
- Week 4: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00 AM 7:30 AM
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, State of Virginia license (or license status), and a minimum of 2 years of clinical imaging experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position supports a Level II Trauma Center, with a focus on trauma imaging and inpatient services. Candidates should be flexible with shift times and able to perform in a busy, high-acuity environment.
