Description

Job Summary:
Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer in Aurora, Colorado. This 6-week position involves performing advanced pediatric echocardiograms at a large academic medical center. The role includes working primarily during daytime hours with potential coverage across multiple locations within the care system, including on-call and weekend responsibilities.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour days, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of a cardiac sonographer program; ARDMS PE or CCI RCCS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer; recent experience in a large pediatric academic medical center; experience scanning complex congenital heart disease and surgically repaired congenital heart defects; reliable vehicle for travel between system-of-care locations; experience completing full measurements and writing comprehensive reports; experience with GE and Philips ultrasound machines.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Syngo Dynamics reporting system.
  • Additional Information: Schedule includes 5x8s with variable start times (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM if on call); weeknight call coverage from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM; weekend shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM may be required; option to work 4x10s during weeks with approved requested time off. No request for time off (RTO) is permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemptions for seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed; completed exemption request form must be included with submission.
  • Locations: Primary location is the main campus in Aurora, with additional coverage possible at North Campus, South Campus, Wheatridge, and Uptown sites within thirty-five miles of the original assignment.
