Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Evansville, Indiana. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care, including invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support, patient assessments, and education. The candidate will perform procedures such as airway management, pulmonary function tests, and equipment setup, working within the scope of licensure to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Respiratory Therapist Registered, respiratory therapy education, Indiana state licensure, and at least 1 year of related experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric respiratory care experience, additional certifications (e.g., PALS, ACLS, BLS)
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include operating ventilatory equipment, performing chest physiotherapy, suctioning, monitoring patient status, assisting with diagnostic procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and maintaining detailed treatment records. The role also involves collaboration with physicians, equipment maintenance, and adherence to clinical policies and safety guidelines.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
