Description

Job Summary:
The Sacramento area is seeking a licensed and experienced EEG Technologist specialized in neurodiagnostic testing. This full-time night position involves performing routine and specialized non-invasive neurological assessments to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of various neurological conditions. The role requires working independently with attention to patient care, effective communication, and clinical judgment to ensure accurate and timely results.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 3 x 12-hour days from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ABRET (American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) certification, at least 1 year of experience, valid California State License, candidate must have uploaded Nursys verification within the last 2 weeks, and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult inpatient, ambulatory EEG, sleep EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and specialized equipment such as Nihon Kohden/Neuroworkbench
  • Certifications: ABRET, BLS
  • Additional Information: Performs clinical neurodiagnostic procedures including electrode placement, calibration, and operation of electromyographic (EMG) and evoked potential equipment. Works with neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across various settings, including emergency departments and specialized units, ensuring compliance with SOPs and safety standards.
