Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Pediatrics in The Woodlands offers an outpatient treatment setting focused on providing developmentally appropriate therapy programs to patients ranging from neonates to adults. The role involves evaluating patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with patients and their families. This position supports coverage for multiple family medical leave absences and may include shifts of 10 or 12 hours Monday through Friday.

Job Details:

• Location: The Woodlands, Texas, in an outpatient clinic environment.
• Schedule: Evenings, with most shifts being either 10 or 12 hours, Monday through Friday.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, valid active Occupational Therapy license in Texas, at least two (2) years of pediatric or sports medicine clinical experience, or one (1) year of residency in pediatric, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine. Clinical advancement candidates must have been rated as exceptional or consistently exceptional on previous performance appraisals. Knowledge of rehabilitative care for patients with acute and chronic conditions and understanding of development from neonate to adulthood.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric outpatient experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with basic office equipment, and the ability to develop and follow therapy plans according to departmental and hospital guidelines. The position involves onsite work with remote access for note catch-up as needed.
