Job Summary:
The inpatient physical therapy position is located in WEST JORDAN, Utah. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic, and other physically-related disorders requiring therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and activities of daily living training. The therapist will operate under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and participate in professional responsibilities including documentation, program development, and clinical skill enhancement.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with one weekend per month; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact; BLS (American Heart Association); Dry Needling Certification if performing dry needling; one year of experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient, or inpatient rehab unit preferred; prior use of electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuromuscular, orthopedic, or physically-related disorders; proficiency in modalities, manual therapy, aquatic therapy, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Additional Information: The role involves evaluating and treating patients with various physical conditions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, patient education, adaptive equipment, strengthening, and therapeutic exercises. Flexibility to work standard hours, as well as potential overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts, is required. Clinicians should ensure they are present in the state for the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote.
