Description
Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General (Sonography) position available in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves supporting outpatient, mammography, emergency room, and operating room cases requiring ultrasound imaging. The assignment is for 13 weeks with night shift hours, starting as soon as possible.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; no minimum experience required
- Location: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage, AK 99508
- Facility Information:
- Approximate 185-bed facility
- Radiology department with GE Logiq ultrasound equipment
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems: Epic and McKesson PACS
- Typical procedures include pelvic, obstetric, scrotal, breast, abdominal, para/thoracentesis, biopsies, arterial, and venous imaging
- Staff includes 4 full-time and 2 PRN ultrasound technologists
- Personality Fit: Self-starter, self-motivated, patient-centered, attentive to detail, dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services
- Additional notes: The role requires supporting outpatient, mammography, emergency, and operating room cases, with a focus on high-quality imaging.
