Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (OT) specializing in Home Health services is sought for a position in the Portland, Oregon area. This role involves providing patient-centered therapy, helping clients improve their daily functioning in a home setting. The position offers consistent hours and an immediate start date, with a focus on delivering quality care in a community-based environment.
Job Details
- Shift: 8-hour days
- Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Location: Portland, OR, within a 50-mile radius considered "local"
- Start Date: September 21, 2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon state license, BLS certification, minimum 1 year of Skilled Home Health experience, and ability to work in the home health setting
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Electronic Patient Health Record systems and outpatient or home care environments
- Patient Ratios: Up to 6 patients per day with a 1:1 ratio, with possible visit adjustments based on patient needs
- Open to First-Time Travelers: Yes
- Weekend Requirements: No
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Primary series of COVID-19 vaccination (Oasis preferred)
- Additional Information: Travelers must have reliable personal transportation; the organization groups client visits to minimize driving time, typically within a 60-mile radius. No on-call responsibilities are required.
