Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in outpatient services at a healthcare facility located in Columbia, South Carolina. This position involves evaluating and treating patients with various musculoskeletal injuries in a clinic setting, working closely with a team of therapists to provide effective care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: BS or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy; current license for the state of South Carolina; outpatient orthopedic experience of at least 1 year; manual therapy techniques of at least 1 year; experience treating spains, strains, and fractures of 2 years; experience practicing as a physical therapist of 2 years
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience treating 14-16 patients per day; additional experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
  • Additional Information: Contract position for outpatient orthopedic treatment. Therapists will evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, communicate treatment plans with medical teams, and report patient progress to physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons. Collaboration with colleagues and adherence to clinical protocols are essential.
