Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Enid, Oklahoma. This position involves stabilizing neonates and providing ventilatory support until air transport can arrive. The role requires managing critical respiratory cases with a focus on patient stabilization and ventilator management in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Enid, Oklahoma
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM 6:00 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid ABG license; RRT credentials; certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP; minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in pediatric or neonatal settings; ability to stabilize neonates and ventilate patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal stabilization in a critical care environment.
• Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care based on physician prescriptions. Responsibilities include diagnostic evaluation such as obtaining and analyzing physiological specimens, interpreting physiologic data, and performing tests and studies of the cardiopulmonary system. The practice encompasses application of technology and treatment protocols related to medical gases, mechanical ventilation, artificial airway care, pharmacological agents, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, and hemodynamic support.
