Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist specializing in General Sonography is required for an assignment in Saint Petersburg, Florida. This position involves performing diagnostic sonographic procedures, obtaining high-quality images, and ensuring timely communication of results. Candidates with experience working at dedicated Pediatric Hospitals and/or Pediatric Board Certification are preferred, with a focus on candidates who meet specific clinical and educational qualifications.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a total of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification via the American Heart Association (AHA), a High School Diploma or equivalent, and at least 2 years of sonography experience, ideally with previous employment at a dedicated Pediatric Hospital or Pediatric Board Certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric sonography, prior travel assignment experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have completed at least one full travel assignment and may have previous employment with any facility within a designated health system, with verification required prior to offer. Candidates must be gone for at least one year if previously employed within the same health system to reapply as a traveler.
