Job Summary:
The mammographer position is located in a healthcare organization in Montrose, Colorado. This role involves performing a variety of technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, including breast imaging and interventional procedures. The position requires a professional dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the organizational mission.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology. Certification: ARRT certification in radiology and ARRT advanced certification in mammography. Experience: Performance of a minimum of 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an MQSA-qualified individual, with at least 8 hours of training in any modality (e.g., digital) before independent use.

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The role involves operation of mammographic radiographic equipment, assisting physicians, performing quality control functions, evaluating radiographs, preparing medical supplies, explaining procedures to patients, and providing education and training to student Mammographers. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate statistical data, monitoring procedures, and ensuring completeness of all unread studies.
