Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day shift position at a radiology facility located in Alexandria, Louisiana. This role involves performing all nuclear medicine procedures within the radiology and cardiology units. The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative personality and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Location: Alexandria, LA
- Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/07/2026
- Requirements: Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Louisiana State License for Radiologic Technologists, and any floating area certifications as needed.
- Experience: 0 years required; candidates with previous nuclear medicine experience are preferred.
- Unit Information: The radiology department has 3 staff membersone supervisor and two technologistsoperating primarily during day shifts. The unit conducts all nuclear medicine procedures relevant to radiology and cardiology, including cardiology procedures.
- Additional Details: Rotating call nights and weekends are required. The dress code is scrub attire with no prints or bright colors. Candidates must align with the unit's policies and guidelines.
