This position involves providing radiation oncology services within the oncology department, working a day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a scheduling period of 13 weeks. The role requires a valid New York State license and at least one year of radiation therapy experience.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day Shift (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.), 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA)-approved school of Radiologic Technology; registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification; possess knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology; maintain all registries and licenses required by state and federal law; one year of radiation therapy experience; NY license in hand required
- Preferred Qualifications: Specific experience and training in Radiology, experience with Varian TrueBeam, IX, and Aria software
- Additional Information: This position is located within an oncology department and requires adherence to a 100-mile radius rule
