Job Summary
This position is for an MRI Technologist in Portland, Maine. The role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a Level 1 trauma center, with a focus on neuro, neuroperfusion, and musculoskeletal imaging. The position requires working on a team, with scheduled rotations between weekdays and weekends, including call coverage.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week, with one weekend and one weekend overnight shift included. Shift rotations may alternate between Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday or Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (MR) certification, minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist at a trauma center level 1; familiarity with Philips magnetic resonance imaging systems, including Dynamic Body, Neuro, NeuroPerfusion, and MSK imaging. No Maine State Licensing required for MRI.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with inpatients and outpatients, strong communication skills, teamwork, flexibility, and adherence to protocols.
- Additional Information: Must be a self-initiator and reliable team player; focus on quality patient-centered care. The current department productivity is 96.69%. This is a 26-week contract to address vacancies and employee FMLA leave.
