Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist in Birmingham, Alabama. This position involves supporting cardiac procedures within a dedicated lab environment, providing specialized technical assistance, and ensuring optimal patient care. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality cardiovascular services.
Job Details:
- Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist
- Location: Birmingham, Alabama
- Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Cardiovascular Technology, Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, minimum of 5 years' experience in a cardiac cath lab setting, Alabama state licensure if applicable, and proficiency with Merge Hemo, Epic, IABP, Impella, Laser, Shockwave, Phillips imaging systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: Merge Hemo experience, familiarity with various cardiac procedures, ability to operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and experience working with complex cardiac patients.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with cardiac patients, supporting procedures such as catheterizations, device placements, and interventions. Candidates must be team players, flexible, accountable, and adhere to professional dress code standards of scrubs in specific colors.
