Job Summary:
The position is for a Dietitian specializing in clinical nutrition within a healthcare organization, located in Webster, Texas. This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating patient nutritional care plans. The Dietitian provides age-appropriate assessments for all patients identified at nutrition risk, including diabetes management and education, adhering to established guidelines. The position requires adapting nutrition plans to meet patients' economic, social, cultural, and age-specific needs, with reassessment and adjustments as necessary. Providing age-appropriate nutritional education and assessing learning needs and readiness to learn are also key responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Location: Webster, Texas
• Schedule: Day Shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, registered dietitian certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), licensed dietitian license from the Texas Department of Licensing, at least 1 year of experience in clinical nutrition or related field, and ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and nutrition programs on a computer.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of pediatrics, medical nutrition therapy, and experience with patient education and assessment.
• Additional Information: The role involves participating in the development and review of education materials and department resources to meet the needs of diverse populations. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of nutrition, assessment skills, and the ability to formulate corrective actions based on observations and evaluations.
