Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves supporting cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures within a busy Cath Lab. The technologist will assist in the preparation, operation, and maintenance of equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety during complex cardiac procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS, minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiac catheterization labs, relevant education or degrees required, and Alabama state licensure if applicable
- Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technology

- Unit Information:
- Number of Labs: 4
- Patient Ratios: 1 team : 1 patient
- Equipment Used: Merge Hemo, Philips, and other cardiac imaging equipment
- Required Skills/Experience: IABP, Impella, Laser, Shockwave, Phillips imaging experience, merge hemo experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with merge hemo preferred
- Float Requirements: No Float required
- Additional Information:
