Job Summary:
The York Hospital in York, Maine is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Echocardiography (Ultra Echo) to support the Cardiology Team. This position involves performing advanced echocardiographic imaging studies including transthoracic, stress, and transesophageal echoes. The role requires collaboration with healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days (8 hours per day) with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI. (R.D.C.S. or R.C.S.) preferred with registry required within 1 year of employment as an R.D.C.S. or R.C.S.
- Maintains and demonstrates competency in BLS (Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider) with a current certification (or to obtain within preliminary employment period), infections control, safety and all practice specific required skill review.
