Description
Job Summary
Vascular Sonographer in Hilo, Hawaii. This position involves performing a variety of vascular imaging procedures, including segmental pressure studies, carotid duplex, and upper and lower extremity duplex examinations. The role requires proficiency in vascular ultrasound techniques to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Job Details
- Shift and Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Call responsibilities when appropriate.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting. Specific certifications include ARDMS (AB), ARDMS (OB), or ARDMS (RVT). Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Do not accept the start date if unable to be present on time. The position involves floating to other units/departments as necessary.
