Description
Job Summary:
The location is in Indianapolis. The position is for a Mammographer in a healthcare facility focusing on outpatient services. This role involves providing specialized mammography imaging to outpatient patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Dayshift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited program of radiological technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography; Mammography Certification; Basic Life Support Certification; Indiana State License; 2+ years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Breast ultrasound experience; American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in Breast.
- Additional Information: The role is outpatient only, with a patient ratio of 1 to 1. The unit utilizes Hologic equipment, and EMR documentation is managed through EPIC. The candidate should be a team player, a good communicator, adaptable to change, and possess patient-centered and independent thinking skills. Dress code includes charcoal grey scrubs with non-porous shoes and solid-colored undershirts. The first day may require completing education modules prior to start.
