Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer in the imaging specialty, working onsite at a healthcare facility. This role involves performing diagnostic and screening mammograms, stereo biopsies, and other related procedures for adult and geriatric patients. The position requires collaborative patient care and adherence to safety standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a minimum of 3 years of Mammography (MAMMO) experience, certification in ARRT Mammography (ARRT R*), ARRT Medical (ARRT M*), BLS, and at least 1 year of relevant healthcare experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with digital mammography, stereo biopsies, Hologic 3D systems, and PACS, along with management or lead experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with mammography screens, diagnostic exams, stereo biopsies, and teaching breast self-exams. Knowledge of radiation safety, universal precautions, and the use of specialized equipment like Stereotactic Biopsy devices is necessary. Flexibility to float between nearby facilities may be required.
- Certification and Licensing: Valid state license with a compact license accepted.
- Other Conditions: Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless scheduled for an interview. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
