The organization is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient care in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves delivering comprehensive physical therapy services, including administering tests and treatments, developing functional goals aligned with patient and family expectations, and utilizing appropriate modalities and procedures. The position supports patient recovery and rehabilitation within a hospital or inpatient setting.
Job Details:
- Position: Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP)
- Location: Detroit, Michigan
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Physical Therapist, relevant education or degree, Michigan state licensure, 1 year of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients, administering tests and treatments, developing realistic functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations, and using appropriate modalities and procedures correctly demonstrating knowledge of indications and contraindications.
