Description

Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position in Maine. This role involves working in a busy nuclear medicine department, performing general nuclear medicine procedures, nuclear Cardiac (cardiology) and Oncology (cancer treatment) PET imaging. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend requirements, and involves regular full-time hours.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Dayshift, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification, state license, minimum 3 years of experience in general nuclear medicine, nuclear Cardiac imaging, and Oncology PET imaging.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Siemens equipment.
  • Float: Float between inpatient and outpatient nuclear medicine and PET imaging may be required.
  • Additional Information: Nuclear medicine services are provided in two locations within the regionmain hospital and outpatient imaging centerseparated by a short drive. The department primarily utilizes Siemens imaging equipment and Epic and NMISH electronic medical records. The hospital has 700 beds, and patient ratios are approximately 1:1. Dress code is scrub attire of any color, with no logos or open-toe shoes permitted.
