Job Summary
Radiation Therapist (RTT) position available in a coastal acute care hospital setting. This role involves providing advanced patient care through radiation therapy procedures, supporting interdisciplinary teams, and adhering to safety protocols. The position offers a dynamic work environment focused on delivering high-quality treatments and patient-centered care.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiation Therapist with valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of experience in radiation therapy, proficiency in charting systems (any), and certifications including BLS and ARRT.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric acute care patients, familiarity with Varian machines, and expertise in specialized procedures such as IMRT, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and external beam therapy.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate strong clinical skills, and comply with all safety and operational protocols. The role may involve floating between nearby facilities, and candidates should be flexible to work additional shifts if needed. RTO requests are limited to 7 days and must be submitted upfront during application. Candidates will be required to respond regarding prior employment at a related facility, and must provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years.
