Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist in an outpatient setting. This position involves performing radiotherapy procedures as prescribed by a physician, providing patient care, and ensuring treatment compliance within established standards, policies, and procedures. The role offers an opportunity to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while working under general supervision.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in radiography with certification in radiation therapy; State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist; ARRT license; CPR certification; 0-2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in radiation therapy; Ohio Department of Health License upon submission
• Certification: CPR certified
• Experience: 0 years minimum; 1-2 years preferred
• Additional Information: Practice will be in accordance with laws, regulations, policies, and practice guidelines. The role includes obtaining patient history, preparing and positioning patients, verifying treatment plans, documenting procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Physical demand includes exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently. No special environmental or protective equipment is required.
