Description

Job Summary:
Physical Therapy Assistant (Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)) Outpatient Adults Central Campus. This position involves supporting physical therapy services within an outpatient setting, working under the general supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The role encompasses implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular conditions, including acute, post-operative, and chronic cases. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with daytime hours.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am 4:00 pm, 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: License in the State of Illinois as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA); outpatient experience preferred (new graduates welcome); Basic Life Support (BLS) / Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not necessary)
  • Float: Float rotation is not required
  • Additional Information: The candidate will support outpatient adult patients, assisting in the implementation of treatment programs for orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular conditions. This role is part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive patient care. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 09/14/2026 and conclude on 12/19/2026.
