Description

Job Summary:
Pharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves verifying medication orders, supervising compounding personnel, and escalating operational issues as necessary. The position requires overnight experience and is suitable for licensed pharmacists registered in the state of Massachusetts. The assignment is scheduled to start on September 8, 2026, and conclude on November 28, 2026.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, Monday through Sunday, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Licensure as a pharmacist registered with the state of Massachusetts. Experience in overnight shifts, with 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred. Valid drivers license with matching address, current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and recent manager or supervisor references in pharmacy.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Pyxis (automatic dispensing cabinet), EPIC electronic medical records system, and equipment such as Pak-Edge (software and machinery used for unit dosing medications). Flu vaccine during season and RTO requests at submission are preferred.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be able to verify medication orders, oversee compounding personnel, and escalate operational issues to the manager on-call. Equipment used includes Pak-Edge and Pyxis systems.
  • Documentation: Pyxis system experience and recent manager/supervisor references are required for submission.
