Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient located at a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, and more. The position offers an opportunity to work in a facility dedicated to intense therapy and continued medical care prior to patient discharge.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid physical therapy license, graduate of an accredited physical therapy program, minimum one year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Schedule: Day shift with 8 hours per day, totaling at least 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Ability to administer tests and treatments; develop functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations; demonstrate knowledge of appropriate modalities and procedures with correct indications and contraindications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in inpatient rehabilitation facilities and familiarity with advanced surgical technology and trauma care.
• Additional Information: The physical therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services, including administering tests and treatments, developing realistic functional goals, and using proper modalities and procedures. The facility is located on the West Campus, with staff in Navy Blue Scrubs, and offers parking anywhere for staff.
