Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients within a busy hospital setting. The focus is on delivering high-quality care through various procedures and ventilator management, working closely with interdisciplinary teams during night shifts.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00PM to 7:00AM, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026.
Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP; education requirements include a relevant respiratory therapy credential. No minimum years of experience specified. Must be located in or willing to work in Tallahassee, FL.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in critical care and emergency care environments, including ICU, ER, and Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Additional Information: The respiratory therapy team rotates through all inpatient units including two 10-bed ICUs, utilizing advanced ventilators and bedside analyzers. The team is experienced and proficient in procedures such as intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist. RTs actively participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounding and work with various specialized equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
