Description
Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in a healthcare facility located in Wisconsin. This role involves performing general nuclear medicine studies, including common exams such as bone scans, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphatic, cardiac, and parathyroid procedures. The technologist will work primarily during day shifts, with a focus on delivering high-quality imaging services utilizing Siemens equipment, including Symbia Evo SPECT, Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT, and Capintec Thyroid probes. This contract provides an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to patient care in a dynamic environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8 hours per shift, start time between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with occasional flexibility.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, starting from 09/08/2026 and ending on 12/05/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Associates degree or certification, BLS certification, and ARRT(N) or CNMT certification (AHA or ARC certifications accepted). 1-2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of performing SPECT/CT and/or PET/CT studies preferred; training provided if needed. Experience with Siemens Symbia Evo SPECT, Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT, and Capintec Thyroid probe preferred.
- Additional Information: The technician may be required to float to additional facilities such as Merrill, Antigo, Medford, or Stanley if needed. A valid drivers license may be required for travel between facilities. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times, following facility policies. The role includes the possibility of being placed on call for low census hours, with a minimum callback time of 2 hours. Call back hours count toward unbillable hours, and call back pay will be provided if called back to the facility.
- Charting Requirements: Experience with Epic and Merge PACS systems is necessary; the facility will provide training if needed.
