Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Portage, Wisconsin. This role involves supporting all patient care areas of the hospital, including Emergency Department and general care units. The position requires providing emergency respiratory services, ventilator management, patient assessment, and monitoring across all age groups, with a focus on pediatric care. The contract is designed for weekend shifts with 12-hour day shifts and supports a flexible, resilient, and independent healthcare professional.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour dayshift, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, every weekend, with a start date of 09/28/2026 and end date of 12/28/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Associates Degree or Certificate, WI License, RRT License, BLS certification, Advanced NRP certification. Minimum 2+ years of experience required, including NICU experience, and proficiency with patients aged 0-6 months. Travel experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Support all patient care areas including ED, provide emergency services such as Rapid Response and Code Blue, and operate ventilators including V60 BiPAP, Hamilton T-1 vents, and AVEA ventilators. Candidate must be a hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, and capable of working independently. Dress code requires closed-toed shoes and scrubs; no smoking or scent is allowed. On-call support may be required for low census hours, which will count toward unbillable hours. During Flu Season, travelers declining vaccination must wear masks at all times, per policy.
