Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a healthcare environment. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients, supporting the team with ventilator management, aerosol therapies, and other respiratory treatments. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working collaboratively within an acute care setting in a pediatric unit.

- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Respiratory Therapy, including Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), with experience in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) and Emergency Room (ER), BLS, and ACLS certifications. Education requirements include relevant degree or credential in respiratory therapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory procedures, NRP certification, familiarity with ventilator and Bipap management, aerosol therapies, CPT, and oxygen therapy.
- Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Ventilator and Bipap management, aerosol therapies, CPT, oxygen therapy.
- Dress Code: Scrub top in sage color, black pants.
- Additional Information: The unit has 205 beds with a staff of 35, including ICU and ER experience. Equipment includes ventilators (PB 980 and 840, Bipap V-60, Siemens ABG instruments). The team emphasizes teamwork, with a 0% annual turnover rate, and occasionally utilizes new technology and equipment.
