Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position located in a regional healthcare facility in Galax, VA. This role involves providing respiratory therapy services for patients of all ages, including advanced treatments such as ventilators and Bipaps. The assignment offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 weekly hours, and is suitable for candidates with at least one year of related experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification and license to work as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in VA, at least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience, valid ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information:
  • Unit includes ventilators, Bipaps, and arterial blood gases equipment
  • Patient population encompasses all ages, with respiratory issues as the common diagnosis/treatment
  • Must be able to work independently and with all age groups
  • Start date: 08/17/2026
  • End date: 11/16/2026
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
