Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) specializing in pediatric respiratory care is needed at a medical facility located in Evansville, IN. This position involves working on a 12-hour daytime shift in an acute care hospital setting, primarily in medical/surgical, intensive care, and step-down units. The assignment is a six-week contract starting on 09/07/2026, with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to work in a dynamic pediatric environment.

Job Details:

• Position: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
• Location: Evansville, IN
• Schedule: 12-hour days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Contract Length: 6 weeks, starting 09/07/2026 and ending 12/06/2026
• Shift Requirements: 12-hour days
• Guaranteed Hours per Week: 36 hours
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: Not applicable
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Float Requirements: Will float to inpatient units/facilities
• Required Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Indiana State licensure, NBRC certification (National Board for Respiratory Care)
• Minimum Experience: One year of experience in specialty respiratory therapy, including medical/surgical, ICU, or step-down units
• Charting Experience: EPIC experience highly preferred
• Required Skillset: Medical/Surgical Respiratory Therapy, ICU Respiratory Therapy, Stepdown Respiratory Therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, Arterial Blood Gases
• Education: Associate Degree or Certificate (Required); Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• Holiday Rotation: Every other holiday
• Interview Days: Monday through Friday, with MSP interviews preferred
