Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) opportunity in an inpatient and emergency department setting. This night shift position involves providing respiratory treatments, drawing and analyzing arterial blood gases, and assisting with intubations for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role requires adherence to COVID vaccination policies and a minimum of two years of experience in critical care environments.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), active Respiratory Therapist (RT), Cardio-Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification preferred, valid license to submit, COVID vaccine confirmation, minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care.
• Preferred Qualifications: RRT designation preferred; CRT may be accepted, experience with ventilators including V60 Vapotherm, and working in intensive care or emergency departments.
• Additional Information: Department-specific orientation provided. The hospital maintains a COVID vaccination requirement. No special scrub color is mandated. Respiratory equipment includes ventilators such as V60 Vapotherm, and providers must be able to assist with intubations and perform ABG analysis from arterial lines.
