Job Summary:
The Mammographer position is located in an acute care setting and requires coverage during daytime hours. This role involves performing screening mammography and DEXA exams, with a focus on quality imaging in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work closely with department staff to ensure patient safety and adhere to department protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including BLS (American Heart Association), Certified Mammography Technologist ARRT (Mammography), Certified Radiologic Technologist ARRT (Radiography); Education and Certification minimum of 2 years of experience; valid license to submit; location requirements met
  
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
  
• Additional Information:
  • Department has one mammography room and one DEXA room with specific equipment from Hologic.
  • Performs approximately 15 screening exams per day, focusing solely on screening mammograms and DEXA scans.
  • Full department orientation provided on-site.
  • Responds to call or standby requests are not required.
  • Scrubs provided: black pants and solid color scrub top (any color).
