Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for preparing and dispensing drug orders according to physician requests, interpreting drug orders, maintaining accurate patient medication records, and supervising pharmacy support personnel.
• Required Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharmacy Doctorate) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, California pharmacy license, minimum of 3 years of hospital experience preferred, at least 1 year of experience required, ability to work with Epic electronic medical records highly preferred, current BLS or ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Schedule: 4 days, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include ensuring safe and appropriate drug therapies, monitoring for contraindications and drug interactions, participating in antibiotic and opioid stewardship, providing clinical consultations, and documenting medication interventions.
• Additional Information: Epic experience highly preferred, pharmacokinetic dosing, neonatal medication knowledge, emergency medicine experience.
