Job Summary:
Outpatient Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting specializing in orthopedic care. This role involves evaluating and treating post-operative orthopedic patients, developments of individualized treatment plans, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and reduce pain.
Job Details:
- Location: Frederick
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program; Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility); American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Outpatient orthopedic experience; manual therapy experience
- Additional Information: The position involves treating a caseload including total joint replacements, neck and back pain, spine rehabilitation, manual therapy patients, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating orthopedic patients, developing and delivering evidence-based care, utilizing manual therapy techniques, and documenting care using electronic medical records. The role emphasizes collaboration, community outreach, and professional growth.
