Job Summary:
Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant position in a healthcare organization. This role involves assisting physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, training patients in the use of assistive devices, and using various modalities to support patient recovery. The position spans approximately three months, starting in late August 2026, with a focus on outpatient therapy services and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School, CAPTE Certified, 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience, CPR Certification, active applicable license for the state where work will be performed, and 6 months of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior successful assignment with your agency or with the organization is highly desirable; previous experience with the organization is considered a nice-to-have.
• Additional Information: The role requires implementing treatment goals, assisting with therapeutic interventions, training patients in locomotion, demonstrating use of modalities such as whirlpools and ultrasound, and maintaining safety and infection control standards. Responsibilities also include documenting patient progress, educating patients and families, and collaborating with healthcare team members. Displaying a customer service attitude is essential, along with adhering to clinic policies and safety guidelines.
