Job Summary:
Radiology - MRI Technologist position is located in an acute care setting. This role involves working on a 10-hour night shift schedule, with responsibilities including operating GE 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners, performing approximately 30 scans daily, and starting IVs as needed. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and hold certifications including BLS (AHA) and ARRT (MR).

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour night shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and every other Thursday with call, totaling at least 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR), minimum of 2 years of experience, licensure to submit not required, and located within 60 miles of the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with GE MRI scanners and familiarity with PACS systems such as Epic, Fuki, or Synapse.
• Additional Information: Department performs an average of 30 scans/studies per day. No float requirements. Radiology department has in-house radiologists available both in-person and online. Candidates may be required to start IVs. Shifts include weekends, holidays, and call responsibilities, with a typical one night per week and one weekend per month. Department-specific orientation is provided. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to four shifts within a 13-week assignment.
