Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Pediatrics located in an unspecified area. This role involves planning, evaluating, and implementing developmentally and age-appropriate occupational therapy treatment programs for patients from birth through adulthood. The practitioner will perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, coordinate treatment with interdisciplinary teams, and monitor patient progress to promote optimal recovery and development.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Either Monday-Thursday 10-hour days (7:30 AM 6:00 PM) or 5-8 hours shift (9:30 AM 6:00 PM Monday-Thursday; 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Friday)
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy; two (2) years of pediatric, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine clinical experience or one (1) year residency in the same specialties; clinical advancement candidate must have been rated as exceptional or consistently exceptional on the previous performance appraisal; knowledge and understanding of rehabilitative care of patients with acute and chronic conditions, with development from neonate to adult; proven verbal and written communication skills; ability to treat patients independently according to established therapy plans; proficiency with basic office equipment such as fax, copier, and PC
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuromotor diagnoses including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Brachial Plexus, Down Syndrome, Genetic diagnoses, and developmental delay; feeding and infant experience is desirable but not required
• Additional Information: Role requires managing schedules to meet departmental productivity expectations and collaborating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; ability to analyze clinical situations and prioritize tasks methodically.
