Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is located in the Central Valley region. This role involves operating specialized imaging equipment to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The Technologist will support the cardiac care team by ensuring optimal imaging quality and patient safety during procedures performed in the catheterization laboratory.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with start times at approximately 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, or 3:00 PM. Shift hours are 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) certification; valid Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; fluoroscopy license in California within 6 months of hire.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic health record experience.
- Additional Information: The position requires performing screening procedures, preparing equipment and examination rooms, positioning patients, monitoring safety, producing diagnostic images, documenting exam details, and reporting findings to physicians. Compliance with the facilitys vaccination policies and participation in the E-Verify program are mandatory.
