Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist Registered specializing in pediatric care is sought for a facility location. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients, ensuring safe and effective evaluation and treatment. The therapist will be responsible for administering various respiratory procedures and managing ventilator support, within a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 3x12 shifts, with every other weekend, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026 and ending 12/31/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy; New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or License; Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Respiratory Therapist; BLS (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) and ACLS Certification from American Heart Association; 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Additional Information: The role involves management of critical care patients, NICU, V60 BiPAP/980 Puritan Bennett Ventilators, and EPIC skills. Candidate must be able to participate in external patient transports and assist with departmental in-service programs.
  • Responsibilities include managing mechanical ventilation, performing arterial puncture and analysis, and maintaining accurate patient healthcare information.
