Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position in a fast-paced, cardiovascular services unit. This contract role spans 13 weeks and is focused on supporting a busy cath lab utilizing advanced procedures such as PCI, TAVR, EP, and device management. The role requires a team-oriented individual comfortable working in a dynamic environment during daytime hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: No minimum years of experience specified; certification as RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse is preferred; Candidates must have Cath Lab experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: RCIS or Cardiovascular Nurse certification.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The unit performs procedures including Cath, PCI, EP (atrial fibrillation), Watchman, TAVR, INARI, and device implantation (e.g., PPM, ICD, Impella). The team is comprised of experienced staff working with new equipment and technology, contributing to excellent patient outcomes with a low PCI mortality rate. The department maintains a professional dress code, with royal blue or black scrubs required.
