Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in a healthcare setting. This position provides independent respiratory care, pulmonary, and cardiology diagnostic testing to pediatric patients. The role involves assessing patient responses, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality clinical care across various care environments.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate or technical degree; proof of passing the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); current license as required by state law; Basic Life Support (BCLS); knowledge of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment, typically obtained through one year of clinical experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience are preferred.
- Additional Information: The position involves performing all basic modalities of respiratory care, managing mechanical ventilators, assembling and troubleshooting respiratory equipment, conducting pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing, and collaborating with health care team members. The assignment duration begins on 08/31/2026 and concludes on 11/28/2026.
