Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo in a healthcare setting, specializing in echocardiography imaging of adult and geriatric patients. Provides diagnostic quality ultrasound images under supervision, assisting cardiologists with procedures and interpretations. The role involves patient positioning, technical execution of echocardiograms, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards while supporting the clinical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/28/2026 to 01/02/2027
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); 1-2 years of prior echocardiography experience; ability to work independently; BLS certification; strong communication skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience performing transesophageal echocardiograms and familiarity with ICAEL accreditation standards
• Additional Information: Performs technical ultrasound procedures, maintains echo laboratory records, and assists with quality assurance activities. Ensures equipment and room readiness after each patient and at the end of each day. Provides age-specific patient care, modifies therapeutic approaches based on patient needs, and supports clinic accreditation protocols. The position may require working independently or collaboratively, with a focus on service excellence.
