Description

Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT) for a facility located in a healthcare setting requiring dedicated respiratory therapy support. The assignment is a temporary replacement lasting approximately 16 to 26 weeks, with night shifts. The role involves providing respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric populations, with flexibility to support in the nursery and emergency room as needed. The position demands adherence to patient care standards and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years of Respiratory Therapy (RT) experience; 2 years of experience required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or exposure to neonatal/pediatric populations; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years; NY license, or proof of application with applied date, required at time of submission.
Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility with schedule, including working every other weekend or adjusting shifts to meet patient and unit needs; ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years).
Additional Information:
- IVS to OFFER
- No block schedules; work assigned from Monday to Sunday.
- Bi-weekly orientations, next scheduled for 10/19.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Complete employment history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) required for submission.
- Reliable transportation essential; personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended.
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
