Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Colorado Springs, CO. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in a dynamic hospital environment. The role requires collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details

  • Position Title: Respiratory Therapist
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/22/2026 and end date of 12/26/2026
  • Schedule: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM 7:00 AM), minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cardiopulmonary, minimum 2 years of pediatric experience, NICU experience (Level III or IV) of at least 2 years, emergency department experience (including float/cross-cover), licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and minimum 2 years of pediatric/NICU experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty (NPS) certification
  • Additional Information: No RTO allowed during initial two weeks of the assignment; seasonal influenza vaccine required unless exempted via the appropriate exemption form.
  • Environment: Small unit with a broad skill mix from seasoned staff to new grads, including NICU capability for up to 6 ventilated patients.
  • Collaboration: Strong multidisciplinary teamwork required, with a focus on pediatric care.
  • Float: No float requirement, but client reserves the right to reassign within a 35-mile radius of the original facility for clinical competence and scheduled hours.
