Description
Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist or X-ray Technician with Interventional Radiology experience is sought for a 13-week assignment in an imaging setting located in the region. The position involves performing diagnostic radiographic exams and interventional procedures, with responsibilities including maintaining equipment, documenting using electronic medical records, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. The role offers flexibility in shift start times and includes on-call responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Location: The role is based in a facility that is expanding its Interventional Radiology suite and utilizes PACS and EMR systems for documentation.
- Schedule: Days shifts, with start times varying between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, for a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license from IEMA; board-certified radiologic technologist credential through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); at least 3 years of technical experience; and experience in Interventional Radiology or catheterization laboratory (cath lab).
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The candidate may assist with general X-ray procedures when interventional procedures are not scheduled. The facility is installing a new Siemens Interventional Radiology suite on 06/03, and candidates should be prepared for potential future weekend on-call rotations, including Saturdays or Sundays.
